I just got back from spending 4 days in the Rockport/Port A area. For bait we mostly used live croakers and shrimp and had fairly good luck.

hahah if your wading you would want to use live bait. Its better to use live bait but you could use a lure if you wanted.

We have our room booked already just wondering if anyone has been fishing down there as to what type of tackle, lures vs. live bait etc.
Wheeling we are ready just need to tag along with some one, with mine being stock may have issues with deep sand may get new name sanddog LOL pirat
