no real story. he just didn't want to split up the ticket. when we insisted, it threw him off the whole night. his reason was that it was going to get busy and it was too hard. i don't see how it would be any different if we all had sat at seperate tables.

That's true, but I've always wondered about judging people versus calling them out when they lack either the ability or maturity to behave themselves, even if they're having a bad day and not just lazy, entitled, and overindulged.

No worries about the waiter, every now and then you run into one of those, I guess we should not judge you never know what is going on in someone elses life.

me too... jen had a good tan to start with. the boys got a little red, but also have been in the pool all summer. dad on the other had, i look a little like a peppermint candy...

Upon closer inspection I have discovered that I am a lobster. A shivering (cold shower), frying (sunburn) lobster.

Stupid genetics. Stupid me not realizing just how white I really am.

getting the kids up and about to leave. gotta stop and get some sandwich stuff and drinks at HEB.

Its been awhile since i was at port A, but i know we used to have to buy a beach parking permit that was about 7 bucks. I dont know what the price is nowdays, but ill bet they still make you buy one. We are just planning on hanging out and relaxing. Tried fishing once, but that just pissed me off. lol...

Does it cost anything to get on the beach? I've never been there. What else are you all doing besides hanging out on the beach, and fish? I really want to go, but cash is short. I could put all my gas on my carcareone card, but only exxon and mobile one gas stations will work on it. Any other things would be tough for me.

Indy, KC, PJ, and Jill & Allen are also going!!! We are meeting up with you guys tomorrow morning on the south side! I'm bringing my 13 month old for her first of many beach trips and we are pumped!!!! Surf fishing, fly fishing, collecting salt water tank supplies, and creatures.

The caravan is leaving Saturday about 7:30am, we are meeting at 281 south & 1604, there is a gas station there and a Bill Miller.

We will be going to Port A instead of PINS, but if anyone wants to later in the day we could drive over there its not that far.

Most of us are making this a day trip so we will return Saturday night.

Some guys are fishing, the girls are sunbathing and some others are wheeling, pick your poison.

If you can't make the caravan come down when you want just give us a call when you get there.

Well my friend Josh won't be able to make it after all, can't get anyone to switch off days.

I'd still rather leave Friday afternoon than ass-crack of dawn (or pre-dawn for that matter) Saturday, but if I'm going to be the only one, I'll probably just go Saturday morning.
