PINS Trip

I'm about 99% sure I'm leaving Friday night. It seems there's also a convoy meeting on the east side somewhere on Saturday morning at 7:30.

I got lost somewhere...so we are going to Port A, but are we leaving Friday or Saturday? Are we meeting in the same place?

I think we usually start on channel 4. Generally you'd get the best reach on a channel more toward the middle, like maybe 14 instead, or whatever's open.

What's up people! KC and I are going! just double checking that we are going to Port A instead of PINS. We are staying at a place called Double Barr Cottages. We are bringing both Jeeps and a set of friends. Wow! can't believe we are headed to the beach. I plan on doing some fishing, and chillin on the beach. Whats everybody else planing on doing? Also what CB channel are we using this weekend?

So who's all going? Do we have a list yet?

I am not going to be able to make this. I am on call all week til Tuesday.

I think most of us are coming back Saturday night.

my trip has been cut down to a day trip on saturday. got stuff to do friday and have to work sunday morning.

So I'm thinking about spending the night on the beach Friday night and then coming back Saturday evening. Are people planning on spending the night Saturday and coming back Sunday? Or what?

If you want to fish bring your pole, I think Bobby is fishing. This is what is great about these trips, everyone gets to do what they want, some will wheel, others will fish, and some of us just want to catch some rays.

I have eaten there before. I vote to go there for dinner.

Is this a Saturday day trip? Or are we planning on coming back Sunday?

I'm also torn about when to go down, but I'm thinking it's going to be Friday evening. I took Friday afternoon off just in case

are we going to wheel or hang on the beach? are we going to be in one spot long enough to fish? need to know what to pack for...

Looks like we are heading to Port A, directions are the same as PINS except after we go over the big bridge , past the Whataburger you would go staight to go to PINS, but we will turn left to go to Port A. If anyone wants to drive over to PINS they can its not that far away about 30 miles.

Fred if you are going down on Friday let us know what mile marker your at so we can find you.

I really want you guys to give me feedback after our trip to let me know if you like Port A better than PINS.

Yeah, I'm good either way. I have no problem with PINS, but neither for AP.

Like I said before I am down for anything.

It was my idea, only because there is only wheeling at PINS, ther are no people there unless they have a 4 wheel vehicle, no resturants, no condos, restrooms are miles away, its a great place to visit once in a while or if you want solitude.

i am leaning towards PINS, but am flexible..

Where did the idea for changing come from? I always heard good thing about PINS from everyone on here.

Joe won't be to far anyways from aransas pass. it is on the other side of downtown corpus. I am game for either place... more wheeling at pins though..

Doesn't matter to me. I do know that JKJoe has hotel reservations for Saturday night. Hopefully he can find a place near Port A.
