- Here's a quick reference of the Katemcy K2 trails I've seen so far:
Fenceline Rating: 1 Pretty easy trail, two mild obstacles which give it the one rating, a steep hill climb and a small, but potentially dangerous drop off a ledge. Rear locker helpful for hill climb but not essential when dry.
Devil's Draw Rating: 2 Mild trail, no big obstacles, can be done without a spotter, but a spotter will keep your diffs off the rocks. Moderate size tires helpful, lockers not needed.
Grit Happens Rating: 2 Mild trail, one decent obstacle when run backwards, spotting needed at a couple of points. Best run backwards after running Eat Grit & Die forwards. Lockers not needed, apart from one optional obstacle when running backwards.
Eat Grit & Die Rating: 2.5 Mild to moderate trail, spotting needed in places, entrance is gnarly and most probably hardest part. Plenty of off camber. Spotting helps in a few places. Run forwards then run Grit Happens backwards. Lockers not needed, but would be helpful for entrance if you don't have big tires.
Willy's Wonka Rating: 3 Moderate trail, a lot of fun to run. Several options after drop off at end, including a nice hill climb and different line on drop off. Plenty of spotting. Few bypasses. Big tires help, lockers not needed, plenty of flex helps.
School Bus Rating: 3.5 Moderate trail with a few difficult obstacles. If you can't make either of the two entrances turn around. One pretty hard hill climb, and a series of pretty tough ledges at the end. Spotting needed in parts. Plenty of bypasses. Lockers needed for some obstacles, big tires help.
Hannibal Lechter Rating: 4.5 Difficult trail with a death defying climb at the beginning, body damage possible. Spotting required. No bypasses. Big tires, big axles, lockers, and roll cage needed.
Cyclops Rating: 5 Plenty of really tough obstacles, body damage inevitable. Spotting required. No bypasses. Big tires, big axles, lockers, and roll cage needed. | |

| Looks like I would like to take a stab at all of these except for maybe Cyclops. Will have to size that one up, when I see it. But the body damage I already have on my rig are feeling lonely and will probably want another partner on some other place on the jeep. 25 days to go, and counting. | |

| If I can figure out who will take care of 4 big dogs (2 are mine and 2 are my girl’s) I will go for Memorial Day weekend. I am working on it. We don’t really want to spend $300 just in dog boarding. GCP & GCPP are you guys going? I am about 80% sure that I will. If all goes good I will be heading out Friday after noon maybe we can caravan up there | |

| So am I. Seriously. After seeing those pics, though, I can reaffirm that I'm glad George is building my cage EDIT: Oh, and that I'm locked front and rear, too! Now I'm wishing I'd done the Currie tie rod flip already, too, to bring the tie rod up over the knuckle for a couple of inches more clearance. Ah well. All in time. | |

| An update for Cyclops. The first section is not that difficult and I saw a lot of vehicles coming through it. Once you get to the bottom of that first section though only turn left if you want to do the hardcore stuff, otherwise turn right and you only have one gnarly off camber piece to do. | |
