| As soon I have something firmed up with the SOLF We will roll the ball in SA to someone else and let them continue. If I can not get firm plans the we will proceed with something and just have meet a greet style. If anyone from SA would like to caravan to Houston, we will be leaving SA on Saturday night. Or anyone who would like can meet at the Katy mills. As carrot, Jim with Northwest has dangled a 46" flat screen in front of the club with the largest amount of participants at the July 10th event. This should help get some members in there. one of those members will have to find a way to fit their new TV in the Jeep | |

| I received a PM from stout. He was asking if I would be his primary POC and help with postings on forums and such. I'm only on two forums but offered to assist any way I could. Waiting for his reply now.
I still don't have any idea if they are coming thru SA or not.

| Okay, the SA area has had little interest from Businesses who would like to host this but I think we have some tentative plans set forth. I think 4 wheel parts is going to step up and let us have something there. I will more details as I get them. | |

| Don't have a facebook account, so I can't see the post. Somebody with facebook help me and relay the event information onto this thread.
It's too bad the SA businesses are so disinterested. At least 4 Wheel Parts is stepping up to the plate.
Looking forward to details on the day so I can put it in my calendar. I have family coming in that weekend too, so I'll have to have my shoehorn with me all day.

| I just spoke with Chris at 4 Wheel Parts. He confirmed that SOLF will be here on the 9th. Times are not yet known, but 4WP is looking to have some kind of refreshments and possibly a BBQ.
I'll post more as I get more.

| Okay so where does everyone want to caravan from. Do we want to meet them at 35 and 1604 or maybe New Braunfels? Do they have a Police escort when they get in town? I'm not promising anything but I might be able to pull off a Police escort. I have a call in to a friend | |

As of right now they will be taking a detour through Kerrvill and coming down I-10. When you come out Fair Oaks Pkwy there is a Gas station Cafe called FlagStop. I am Staying in Fair Oaks friday Night and my Father in Law is one of the drivers for the Jeeps. We are meeting them at the FlagStop. Would you guys like to meet there and Caravan? can you get others in SA to do the same? is SA Jeep Exclusive still around?

| Okay let say we are meeting at 9:45 at the flag Stop Cafe on i-10 July 9.
Can someone take over lead on this and get the rest organized and posted up everywhere?
From there we will caravan to the 4 wheelparts and after caravan to the Alamo. Yes. it looks like we will have some photo space cleared for us. Still waiting on details for that but we can plan it and if it falls though, we will not do it.
Who can do this for me. WE need PEOPLE there.

Who can do this for me. WE need PEOPLE there. DO NOT MEET at Flag Stop!!!! they get a little PISSY if block there pumps and their parking is not very big. There is a empty lot next to them. That lot belongs to Fair Oaks Automotive, who is my cousin. We have permission from him to stage all the Jeeps there. I will be there at 9:00 to help everybody out and get them lined up. Guys this need to be bigger than the "Topless Day" turn out!!!! This is for the families of soldiers we have lost. I will post this in other forums.

| I spoke to chris at 4WP again today. He confirme the event as taking place from 11-3. The Pirates will be cooking. I told Chris he wouldn't be disappointed, so the bar is good and high, Randy. Your welcome!
There will be a blood drive and 4WP needs 25-30 confirmed to get blood mobile to come out. If any of you are willing, please post up and I will contact them with #'s. All donations are to benefit wounded.
Robert & I are coordinating an escort for the SOL rig (OK, mostly Robert). We're hoping to join up and convoy in at the Bexar/Comal County line.
Finally, a plan is starting to come together. More details to come.

Finally, a plan is starting to come together. More details to come. Actually we will be caravanning from Fair Oaks Rd. and IH10. The Jeeps are cutting across through Fredricksburg to Kerrville to swicth drivers and then to Fair Oaks to swicth again. That's where we will pick them up and escort them in. Hopefully with a Police escort!!!
