Jeep Nation weekend to the Beach

The Beach is my Fav but I dont get back until middle of Sept, lets do it again around then!

Hotel booked for Saturday only. Will drive up very early Saturday morning.

Gonna make the trip, but I'm gonna camp on the beach. That hotel doesn't allow dogs!

I did the lonely camping last year. I figure I will splurge and get a room at the hotel this time. So I am in and the hotel is booked. I can't wait.

We are camping, BTW, I havent seen a location posted. Which beach we goin to.

I get back from florida on the 17th, so we are in. Will have to leave fairlly early on sun because i leave for nebraska on monday

Port A, usually around mile marker 66, take the second access rd and go left. We will meet there and then decide if there is room for us and see how the beach looks, if we need to move we can. We need to set a meeting time for Sat morning any suggestions, several will be driving in, I am thinking about 10ish...thoughts?

No matter, I thought it was friday - sunday. There is usually heavy vehicle traffic in that area especially of us who camp. I usually like to go south of the 103 which is the last marker before the state park. Half way between the 103 and the state park jetties. the third access which is the 99 then go right (south). Between the 103 and the state park is about 2 - 3 miles of beach which is not maintained. The sand is softer there and two wheelers usually cant make it down there. Whole lot less traffic and better for those of us who camp. The jetties are not to far down for those who want to fish as well. But no matter just a thought. Time doesnt matter either, we will probably head in on friday anyway.

I think we should keep it where we always end up, around mile marker 66. Wifey will have acces to rest rooms there as well. No point in driving to the middle of no where, just because we can.
We need people to see how beautiful our Jeeps are.

We had plenty of room last time! And its closer to all the night life for us single guys!

Another good spot is 88. There's restrooms and a good fishing hole.

Sounds like everyone wants to stay put, but the 80's and 90's are much better.

I have to back out of this event, because I double booked that weekend. I was looking forward to this so much that I didn't notice it was on my wife's birthday.

Candle lit dinner 40 min before sunset under a white canopy & white table cloth followed by a strole along the shore line at sunset... sounds like the perfect birthday dinner to me (after a nice long day of hanging out with fellow jeepers). Sounds like a double win to me

Hell, I'll bring the table cloth!

I just booked the room. We will be either 3 or 4 peeps strong in our group. Gonna be a good time.
