| A few of us talked about this on the PINS trip and wanted to put together a Big Bend trip in November. Im tossing around the week of November 7th. Taking a poll to see how much interest there is. It sould be a little cooler in November for those who wish to camp. Anyone interested? | |

| For you it would be about an 8 1/2 hour drive per mapquest. From Corpus you would probably come up to US90, then turn west. I intend to take US90 versus IH10, we could set up a time to meet in Hondo and travel together.

| Don't know at this point what everyone will be doing for housing. I plan to take the motor home. I know there is a hotel in terlingua. I plan to get with some who have gone very soon and will post up and take a poll on what everyone wants to do. I want to get the plan in place early so everyone can plan and schedule everything now and not have suprises at the last minute. | |

| It's up to everyone. I just put it out there to see if there is interest. Now that there is, we can start planning. I read over the Easter post for Big Bend and from what I gather to enjoy it all we need to plan for some time. I think we should plan for two days of travel, four days at the park. Which would be at least 6 days. I plan to go down on Monday morning and stay till Sunday. I reckon each person can decide when they want to get there and when they want to leave, not everyone needs to come and go at the same time. I will leave a contact number for those who wish to come later in the week so they can join in when they get there. As I look into it it appears there is lots to see and do.
What does everyone think?

Well I believe the date is set, the week of November 7th. I will be headed down there on Monday the 7th and returning Sunday the 13. For those who want or have to come later in the week we will meet up when they get there. Just let me know when you intend to arrive so we can look for you.

?JK4AER? Texas Kid Cross me out...after running it by the boss, I found out my wife is in a wedding the weekend before (11/5) and she wants to have my little one's bday party the weekend after (11/12). If by some chance I can get out of the wedding and the bday party date moves, then maybe. But as of now, not gonna make it. I would still be a maybe anyways until a lot closer, so don't go moving dates around just for me.

| I've made my reservations in the Rio Grande Village RV Park for November 7 - 13. Appears to be a nice park in the southeastern corner for those who may want to RV down there. It also appears they have campsites as well. At the moment they have plenty of room. Whats everyone thinking of doing for housing? | |
