| Hidden falls has a military discount. I believe its 20% off. I got it the last time we were all out there. Since the kids are going they should have their military dependent ID cards with them. Everyone gets them when they turn 10 y/o.
As far as fenders, I want to keep them intact through at least the winter and they I may get a second pair to just cut up. I've been looking on CL for a set. I may take them off just for the trip. Again Ill have to see.

| I dont think the issue was as much about discounts as it was contributing to the comunity. We are doing a comunity service and merely asking a business for support. Asking the kids, their families, or a non profit organization to pay their way, we may as well ask them to pay our gas too. If it comes down to it, I got 15 bucks for my passenger. | |

| One of the things we might want to do is get a list of everyones real name and pass it on to the Hidden Falls MGMT so they can get the group discount list up and running.
Adaben: Can you see what the Round Rock/Parents will cover so we can see what we will have to pool to cover the rest of the kids?
What are the ages of the kids that are coming? $5 is easier to squeeze out of people than $15.

| Ok here is the deal. I am not going to ask the volunteer organization or the parents of these kids or any of you to pay for them to ride with us. I think it is total B.S that Hidden Falls would not let these kids ride for free. The owners excuse was that he is trying to make money so that he can pay his staff and keep the lights on. I can understand a business needing to make money but if I were him I would jump at the chance to get the roughly $600.00 we would pay him for our Jeeps to be out there for the day and use the waived rider fees as a tax wright off. But that's just me. I will talk to my friend about the feasibility of getting the kids to Clines. We have had 20 rigs out there before and it worked out. We would just split into 2 groups. I sincerely appreciate all of your offers to pay for these kids to ride but as Beached bum put it I would rather support a business that is willing to look past the bottom line to do a good thing for some disadvantaged kids. | |

Yeah, nothing will get the folks at Hidden Falls to reconsider their position quicker than the thought of losing that money. 100% of 0 is still 0. - lonestar rubi wrote:

| I would be interested in joining in on this. I have three other Jeeps I could probably get to go as well. And I could give Renny a ride too. I am really surprised at Hidden Falls reaction. Even though I think there is a lot more time and fun to be had at their park. I hope you guys can get it sorted out, and I will keep you posted on vehicles and Jeeps. | |
