Kids To Hidden Falls

Tjlex texted me and said he was. Basically we have decided no matter what happens, we are wheeling somewhere January 7th.

Sorry I haven't posted a response but I have been waiting to hear back from my friend and work is kicking my ass. (I work at FED EX) I am afraid we will not be able to get the kids out for this trip. I sincerely appreciate all of the positive response to this but it is just not going to work out at this time.

I got the okay, just don't know if I'm solo or not, so I may have an extra seat if someone wants to go but can't take thier rig. Is anyone gonna camp or is this a day trip? I've never been so this will be my "de-flowering" of the jeep. I don't have my winch yet, will that be a problem?

Dont know about camping, im not. we usually meet up around 7 at a designated place. If we go to hidden falls, as i suspect we will, we usually meet on 281 in Bulverde and head out in a group around 7. A winch is not necessary, I have one and im sure someone else will as well. As long as there is at least one we are good. As soon as i hear from TJLex we will set a location and time. And we sill set up a meeting place so we can go as a group.

We are shooting for Clines. It looks like we have 6 Jeeps confirmed between the two groups so far.

I do not think there is any camping at Clines. It is private property

It slipped my mind one member from up north wanted to meet us in Marble Falls and still wants to come wheel. So if its ok, lets set a plan and a list.


Hidden Falls 01-07-2012

Meet at Fischers / McDonalds on US281 on the South side of the Guadalupe River Bridge ready to pull out at 0700 hours. Here is the list of what i got so far, (either from the forum or by word of mouth).

The kid thing fell through. Its now a wheeling event for the two clubs that were involved in the event.

That can work.

What is the cost to get in? Is there a rider fee for passengers?
Also, I'm not familiar with the meeting place, is there anyone who would like to meet at 1604/281 early enough to meet the group at the meeting place so I can follow?

25ish entry. There is a rider fee. I think its 5 for kids and 10 or 15 for adults. I live on the ne side so ill meet up with u that morning. As far as the cb. I live on the ne side as well and more than happy to help u put it in. I work this weekend. however I'm off all this week and have a garage we can work in anytime day or night. if you want to come over just let me know when. ill pm u my number now.

I would like to go out there with y'all, but don't have a trailer to carry my jeep out there. Just wondering how many of y'all drive up and how many tow your jeeps. Do any of y'all that drive up have lockers. I'm running a Detroit in the rear, so mine does not do highway speeds that well. I have not driven mine any long distance since I rebuilt my axles. If I can't make it out this time, maybe the next y'all go I will have a trailer and will be able to go then.

Usually everyone drives, i dont have lockers. We caravan out there. slowest person can set the speed. If you want to go and drive your, We can go however fast you can, Or if you want to head out earlier we can meet you in Marble Falls. Your call

for those on the Northeast side. A few of us wanted to meet up here and caravan to 281 and meet the rest of the group. So how bout meeting at the Rudy's BBQ in Selma (IH-35 N @ exit 174A). Meet there at @ 0600 and leave shortly after. I hope to get to 281 in time to allow those who wish to grab a bite time to do so.

I'll meet you at Rudy's. 0600 sounds good to me. I will hopefully have the new winch bumper and winch installed by then. I may also bring a guest if that's okay. She's looking at possibly getting a jeep so this trip may persuade her.

Hey guys I am thinking of heading out to meet everyone at hidden falls but I will be coming from San Angelo (NW of San Antonio). What time you think would be good to be at hidden falls by?

I also have a buddy out in san antonio that is hoping to caravan out with you guys if that is cool. He will be in a maroon Cherokee.
