Well...if Steve's gonna run up with us, we're staying at the Day's Inn (link above in Stormtroopers post). I think they might have had the best prices and it's right in Llano. It'd be cool to be at the same place!

| Sascha, the drive from 281/1604 to Long's was just under 2 hours. Gratuitous pic from Saturday: | |

| Deacon, How long was the drive to Long's from San Antonio. I ran a mapquest and it is only 85 miles. I might commute and save the money on hotel costs. | |

Which motel? We'll be getting a room as well. Probably go back to the same motel we stayed at last time- think it was a Best Western, but don't remember for sure. But if you already have a room booked, we'll just stay where you're at so we can run out together.

| The river is fun but there is a whole lot of good trails hidden in that place, I think everyone who went remembers the hillbillys | |

| I imagine I'll be there. I went Saturday and had a great time except for the I'll advised time spent in and around the river. It was just me and Josh and for a little bit we were joined by a handful of other people. It was a lot more fun with more people, annoying young hard-heads notwithstanding. But I think we only saw a very small portion of the ranch. It was pretty cool being one of the most capable rigs out there, but even so I still abused the tires, exercised the skids, and squashed the tail pipe. I have to say, though, the rock rash was validation that I'd built up the little red mule the right way. The only time she ever fell short she still got further than anyone else, and the only limiting factor was the 35's not being, say, 40's. I really look forward to going back out with a bigger group of more experienced drivers! | |
