Well I fiinally pulled the triger on some new tires for my rig, KM2s - 285/75/r16 which measures a 32.8" diameter. However now my spare tire doesn't fit on the factory mount so I need to either get a new rear bumper with tire carrier or adjust the factory mount some how. Check it out.

Looks great...soooo jealous! I just spent $300 on two car seats...yippee!! PSA - the Toys R Us on Blanco and 410 is closing and pretty much everything is 20% off, same thing for the Babies R Us on Rector and 281. Is this what my life has come to!?!??!?

Nice looking rig!

You got these options:
1. Buy the adapter like JK_JOE said
2. Let the air out of the tire until you can fit it in there (never done it but I read it somewhere)
3. Install a body lift. I could fit my 33's on stock carrier without any adapter with the 1" body lift.
4. Forget about options 1-3 and buy the tire carrier, you know you want it!

I think i'm going to go with the JKS 1.25" BL http://store.jksmfg.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=B1BODY&Store_Code=JKS01&Category_Code=Body_Motor, this should address the other possible issue of getting fender rub when I'm flexed out.

If I still can't fit the spare tire on after that, then I'll try the adapter like Joe suggested.

I should just man up and get this: http://shrockworks.com/Jeep-Tire-Carrier-Rear-Bumper-Jeep-Spare-Tire-rack-Swing-Away-pr-16201.html

Thanks yall

I think the BL is the way to go, doesn't cost too much more than the spare tire mount spacer and you will probably need another inch anyways.

Sometimes size does matter! bounce
