| FYI, a friend may have a new JK and 4" lift to put on by then. I'm not an expert but have done a couple 2"-3" lifts now (just the basics - springs, shocks, swaybar links, and trackbars); however, I'm sure a 4" lift will have some stuff (brake lines, control arms, etc.) that I haven't done so the help would be good if it's not imposing. I'll let you know more when I know more...thanks!! | |

As soon as you know exactly what lift, let us know. The more parts, the longer it takes. It will give us an idea of how much time we will need for everyones installs. looks like we may need 2 groups going at the same time.

Just found out that the he'll probably hold off another couple months on this. I still hope to make it by, but I'll likely have my 3 year old "helper" with me (it's easier to get permission if I bring one of the boys!!), not 100% sure though.

all the wires are run and hooked up...just need to finish that last leg.... I mounted my switches (2) in the A-Pillar plastic trim piece. I'm happy with how it turned out. I can email you some pics if you would like (I don't have a web image hosting account).

| OK, so my sliders are supposed to arrive Monday . I know I'm gonna have to grind off the edge of the fender washers that secure the tub to the frame for the installation. That will require either a bench grinder or angle grinder if the task is to be expedient. Will one of either be available? If not, I will have an excuse to go get one. Truth is, I should have bought one long, long ago, but haven't. | |

Truth is, I should have bought one long, long ago, but haven't. I have a 4.5" angle grinder. I can lend it to you prior to the install party if you want? Lets get a list of tools needed and what we have. I'll start. I have and can bring: - 32 gallon compressor - 4.5" angle grinder with grinding discs and cutting wheels - 4 large jack stands - typical air tools (impact gun, air rachet, air hammer, die grinder) - my bag of hand tools ****** Anyone have a socket big enough for the flange on the T-case?

| Well, I received my rails Monday and they look great! I am really excited to install them.
As for tools, I'll be bringing my tool bag with the typical mechanics tools. I'll also bring my floor jack & 2 pairs of jack stands. I will bring some 4 1/2" metal grinding wheels to replinish Renee's & Richard's supply. I have a pretty good soldering iron I can bring as well, just in case anybody has any soldering that needs to be done.

| Just ordered poly performance weld on front trackbar bracket and draglink flip kit.
Hoping someone with a 220v welder can do the welding.

Please post up what you have to install so we can see how much we have to do.

| TT Jeff the other day and at first I wanted to have someone with a 220V welder do the work. But Jeff showed me a picture of his welds, and they have greatly improved. <-- not sure how he will take that.lol
I should have the bracket in next week, however the draglink has a few weeks delay. I cannot install the one without the other. So I might have some work that needs to be done, or not... I'll be there to lend a hand and drink a beer or two either way.

Here are my plans. - Remove my Sahara side steps and install my Ace Engineering rock sliders
- Check and tighten my lift fasteners. I have an occasional "pop" coming from the suspension. I suspect the track-bar is the culprit.
- Aid anybody requiring assistance with their rigs.

You can install them one at a time. You will just have some bump steer. I drove like that for a couple weeks. It is not really unsafe, just annoying. I am far from being an expert but have improved. If anyone needs something welded I will bring the welder.
