Good news and bad news. Bad news - I'm a no for the trip. Good news - I will be in CC visiting my grandma and will still get to go to the beach at some point. I'll look out for you all, hopefully our paths will cross.

Yes, I will bw there with my wife. As of now my friend is going as well. He will be following me it to the park to the meeting place. His name is Cherokee Chief on the forum. If anything changes with him i will let you know. But i am a definate.

Anyone heading down Friday from SA?

We will be making the drive from SA on Friday Swamprat. My number is 210-347-0470. We drive through Junction semi-regularly going to Big Spring. Would like to see your rigs sometime.

Could we get an idea of the number of people going in each rig? A total would be a good idea from a safety standpoint, and we are bringing meat to cook on Saturday evening for everyone.

What is the forecast for the weekend? I see highs and lows in the 80's for Port A. Slight chance of showers. Looks good to me being over 100 here over and over.

I'm showing 60% chance of storms Friday Saturday and Sunday. It goes up and down daily.

Don't know about the others. But where I'm sitting I'll take rain! It will help with the heat while we are there. With all that we have been dealing with, I am sooooooo looking forward to this! On top of the estate situation, we had a major water leak from a broken pipe. I just finished rewiring about half the house and fixing the damage. I want to feel the sand between my toes with a drink in my hand, miles from civilization! Wanna do some fishing too while we are there!

No matter to me either. I've been wanting to do this for years. Planning on doing it from the other direction first of August.

We may be with you in August if you are cool with that! Not a very long trip from South Padre.

I was gonna ask when we all got together. Kinda why I mentioned it now.

I took time off in August. We are headed down the 1st - 6th.

We may be able to do that. Gotta be out of state at the end of the week though.

Sorry for the late notice guys but i have to back out of the trip. The wife broke her ankle in 3 places this past week and had surgery on it. She cant put any weight on it for 8 to 10 weeks. I am very bummed. I was really looking forward to this trip. If I can find someone to come stay with her I will come but that doesn't look to promising.

we will be going so count us in
