4th of July weekend PINS trip and campout

Very good, no problems. Made it all the way easily. No fatalities. Does appear my third carburator has failed me and my transmission is grinding. I'm beginning to wonder if this jeep thing is for me.

It was awesome! the storm really flattened out the beach so we didn't had any problem. I got back home with a little over 1/4 of tank remaining. Weather was great, no rain and not too hot either.

We had such of a great time that even my girlfriend is saying that next time we should stay an extra night!

As for the park ranger.....

A.) It is legal to have a pistol with a concealed carry license.

B.) It is legal to have a rifle or shotgun without a concealed carry license.

C.) It is illegal to discharge a weapon on the national seashore.


SwampRat was shooting a BBGun at something (Trash I think) and one of the turtle patrol members called him in. As you can see from the picture we were at Mile Marker 30.... So halfway down the beach.

That ranger was hauling ass to catch us as were moving at a pretty good clip ourselves.

In the end they gave all the weapons back and we went on our way.

And you can't blow the female park ranger a kiss on the way back.

Oh lord... did he get stopped AGAIN?

I also learned that weekend that no matter how drunk u get the sand crabs STILL taste like sand...

About the park rangers.. No matter what I do or where I go it seems like I'm flying a flag that says " pull me over" they had it in for me from early that morning... I encountered a ranger while I was sittin there mindin my own business ..
Lol.. I was buzzin purdy good and still passed their sobriety test, got all the guns they found back, and let go with a warning... What's weird is With all the beer cans they pulled out I didnt even get an open container ticket

Well I made it home in limp mode and now I have to find out why lost all kinds of power I let I cool down and tried to make it to autozone to read to code but they were closed it ran fine on the way to autozone but on the way back after it warmed back up it starter losing power again guess I'll try it again today and sand crabs are sweet and sandy lol

As I dont know how to post pictures on the forum, I have posted all the pictures I took to a facebook account I created to use with all the folks I meet in the jeep club.
