Tams, TxRubiGrl, BigJoe and KENNEDY13TX will be meeting up later in the day at Malaquite Beach vistor center, making the run together, and joining us Friday evening. As of right now i dont have phones numbers of the later group. One day down of a five day stretch of 12 hour shifts. just to be able to get out of here on the 4th. it will all be worth it Wednesday morning when we pull out of here and hit 37 south. 8 days one the beach, and an awesome wheeling trip with some friends, as close to heaven as you can get on earth.

Tide schedule:
Fri- High 07227 @ 1.4, Low 1307 @ 1.0, High 1526 @ 1.0, Low 2346 @ -.3
Sat- High 0745 @ 1.3, Low 1335 @ .8, High 1712 @ .9
Sun - Low 1229 @ 0, High 0757 @ 1.1, Low 1413 @.6, High 1910 @ .8

I hope all ya'll who have dogs are bringing them. Unfortunately with my duty schedule I can not have a dog but I do love dogs. I saw the pics from last year and there were a ton of dogs with ya'll. I hope thats the case again this year

Mine will be staying in our bus with my wife in Port A while we are out there.

Anyone else bringing a fishing pole, and maybe a casting net? I thought I would try this fishing thing, we tried crabbing last time with no luck.

Great. Maybe you can teach me how to use it. I don't really get to fish Sad I know

Looks like we are out, had to go down to Corpus this weekend to address some issues with out place out there.......plus by the time we get off work Friday it will be too late to drive all the way down and then back early Sunday to get back to work Monday! Hopefully next year or on the next trip out.

Question for the second crew to head down. How many of you guys have a working CB? This will help me with the placement on how we travel down there. I would like atleast 2 working CB's in the group. One up front and one in the back. That is just me. Just let us know.

Yes sir the only way we could reach you by CB is by the "skip" since you will be down there allready. And at that time of day and solar activity that will not happen. I do love and learned alot about radios in the past from AM/FM/VHF/UHF........

With my tuning I will be able to hear you just fine at 68 miles. But yet with my stock radio there will not be a 2-way conversation. With a Moded unit I would be able to talk to you but yet I sold that unit years ago. I did not want to do anything to piss off the FCC.
