Excellent bargain hunting....................we probably need to get our rooms squared away, wherever we are going to stay. Been hearing travelers will be heading to Texas beaches because of the oil spill which is going to make for much more people than previous years. Just a thought.

I've been itching to get back out there. 95% I will be there w/ yak + long lines, may head out a day early or so and bring some extra peeps along to take advantage of fishing conditions, should they be good.

I just fell to a 10% chance at best. My travel schedule just filled up, I have two conferences to attend out of state, arriving back home the Thursday before the trip, it's unlikely the lady will be cool with me disappearing again after being gone for two weeks.

Yes there are several guys going down Saturday, it might be best to give us a a call when you get there so we can tell you where we are at, I know we want to go the Port A and will drive the beach, some will want to go over to PINS as well.

No, we will set up "base camp" probably near Port A and just do runs up and down the beach or over to PINS for a while, there is usually a few guys that always wants to stay put so they watch things for us.

Anyone meeting up on Saturday to drive down together from San Antonio?

Ok, my travel plans expanded, so I canceled my trip for the week prior to this one, so I'm likely going to go to PINS. I will be camping, but probably return early Sunday morning.
