I think the Comfort Inn was a great choice!

Sorry for the late post. I'm about 95% sure i'll be there. And just throwing it out there, there is a concert out at brewsters street Sat night it's texas country if anyone is interested.

If anyone has a cb antenna tuner I sure could use a tune while down at PINS.

The club has one. It should be at PINS.

I'm gonna make a trip down PINS tomorrow(Wed). My soon to be exwife is gonna let me use her Jeep to take take my brother down the beach,he is here visiting from Georgetown for a few days. I will give a report Wed evening of beach conditions and what not. I only plan to go about 30 miles down though

i will bring the SWR meter. Also, if you haven't booked your room yet. I got a killer deal on Expedia for a Double queen room on the Bay at Knights Inn by the Beach located at 3615 Timon Blvd. It is only 71 for friday night and 79 for Saturday.

I was at the beach (not PINS) on sunday, nice weather, barely any seaweed, I hope it holds (were supposed to have another tropical storm entering the gulf sometime soon. No AC in the jeep and I can't decide on sweating it out or risking getting dumped on by these "ghost showers" everyday says rain but I haven't felt a drop in weeks

not sure if I posted or not - we're staying at la Quinta on the mainland side of the causeway. they allow dogs...

we're headed down early Fri. Happy to meet up for lunch.

Alright, I made a little run down PINS today. I got a late start so I only went down about 15 miles to Yarbrough Pass. I went over to the bayside and did a little wade fishing. The driving conditions were about average, not to bad but coulda been better. There was tons of seaweed on the beach though. If these conditions hold up for the big gathering it all should be fun!! I wish I could be joining you guys and gals but I'm afraid today was my last drive in the Jeep because of the impending divorce....Ya'll have fun and be safe
