hey tara, i have a firestick antenna you can slap on if you want to use your cb. everything is off my jeep and in the shed so if you are already wired for one, we can throw it on really quickly. and i live within walking distance from tams-tj and someone else on here with a 4 door silver wrangler. i even have a mount in the toolbox for the antenna but its one that has to be drilled and put on with bolts.

put me and family on the maybe list.

Just got my tracking for my lift. I am like a little kid. Should have by wed.

The list as is stands now. In green are the ones I have a confirmation for, or know will attend. With what we have confirmed so far, looks like this is going to be an awesome event. The yellows have showed interest but have not confirmed yet. I know some will be a last minute decision. If you havent confirmed or canceled by the morning of the 5th, please call or text me so I will know. If I dont hear from you I will assume you have canceled. I was orriginally going to come down the night of the 4th but I was off on the 5th and am no longer. I wil be coming down the night of the 5th. This being said, I will have no time to test out the J10 on the sand so we will not be bringing it, only the CJ. I will probably be at the park around 0600 on the 6th getting ready. At this time the palns are to head out around 0800 as long as all the confirmed are there. So if you are a confirmed and not gona be able to make it, or are running late please call me. If you have not confirmed but at the last minute on the 6th decide you want to go, please call me as well so we dont leave anyone behind.

Looks like i won't be making it this year...g/f wasn't able to get off that friday. She was however able to get monday 7/2 off so we may go up there the weekend before.

Looks like I won't be going, either, unless I end up riding with someone. The 06 is for sale (well, soon to be) and the 97's 4.0 isn't 100% healthy (and looks silly with the old OEM tires/wheels from the 06 acting as rollers for the time being). The LT1 swap ought to make that better, but that's not exactly coming immediately...

Tams-Tj and TxRubiGrl will be meeting up later in the day and joining us Friday evening.

What do ya know. 3 years in a row a hurricane will be affecting the 4th of July. hopefully this one help us this year like last years did.

I've gotta go get my boat ready for this storm now. It is really cool driving the beach after a tropical system. You can see everything from beached boats to coconuts, trees, buoys, all kinds of debris.

I think this one is gonna stay well north of us. I don't think we will see anything but 100 degree temps.

You are right, it is really early to have a good idea of where this thing is going. But I always make the preparations on my boat early just in case. Don't want to get caught up in the exodus on the way back from Port A.

You are absolutely right, I remember that!

I'll be going depending on whether or not I get my drive shaft in. Supposed to be in this week, so I should be good to go.

Most likely won't be able to leave at 8am Fri. If anyone else can't make it in the morning(TxRubiGrl, Tams-Tj) I'm down to get together and head out early afternoon.

Sounds good Kennedy13TX! We are planning on leaving around 2-3pm on Friday afternoon. My hubby does not get home from work til about 1-2pm. I'm off that day, so planning on having everything packed and ready before he gets home. I was planning on meeting up at Malaquite Beach vistor center, but we can always meet up at HEB (Flour Bluff) parking lot or my house here in Flour Bluff (its on the way). I'm open to any suggestions!

I'm open to meeting up wherever. Let's try and set a time and get a list of everyone that wants to leave early afternoon on Fri. (not trying to take away from the group leaving in the morning...just for those that can't leave that early Fri)

They now have the storm moving backwards across Florida so we should have no worries with this one......besides HOT AS HELL!!!!
